I come from a dslr background.

The camera feels very solid and reliable. You cannot compare it to your average consumer product. You can see its built to last.

Viewfinder: that thing is big and bright. I have chosen to mate the camera with the 35 lens thinking that i would be able to easily use the entire window. Its would have been possible to do that if i was not wearing glasses (I am buying contact lenses for that).

One issue that i find a bit problematic in some occasions is that the patch is not 100% from some angles, this means you have to place your eye a certain way to see the patch properly.

Sound: It is not a silent machine. But the lack of the mirror flip makes the noise a lot less intrusive. People do not associate the sound with a picture taken like an SLR.

Size: It is not a small camera; it does not replace a point and shoot. Certainly it is far smaller than any digital full frame (save for that pricey M9) and most serious film slrs.

Lens size: I have an f1.2 35mm lens. People "complain" how big it is compared to other rf lenses. Compare it to any fast cannon or Nikon lens: it is tiny ! .Really its the fastest 35mm lens guys ! . it is not big, size should not be an issue.

General shooting experience with the camera and lens: coming from SLRs, it feels like starting a new relationship. It is incredibly exciting but there is some getting used to. (I can tell that we will be like soul-mates 😀 ). I will be developing my first roles sometime this week.

I'll keep you posted with the results.

Congrats on your combo.
The 35 1.2 seems to be a very special lens in the RF realm.
Of course it's not big compared to an SLR lens, but compare it to other 35's around (summicrons, VC skopar) and these will allow even more unobstrusive photography.
These lenses are so flush with the camera that people around don't really realize you are pointing the thing at them, or maybe their subconscient is not screaming "you're being photographed" while, maybe, they do realize that they are...
Don't know if that make too much sense, but my experience is that people react less when shot with a ttiny lens...
enjoy, and careful with those harsh middle-eastern lights.
