In and around the house

My desk and study. It's not usually so clean as this is - it looks as if I just had a tidy up and maybe took the photo to memorialize this special event. :)

Usually it is more dusty and over run by books and camera lenses. The large stone wheel on the desktop is a millstone probably from India. The other items are self explanatory.

When I had a professional desk it had two signs on it, "Don't Touch Anything" and "A tidy desk is the sign of a sick mind".

I recently found this TinTin cover -Vietnamese lacquer style, under the stairs. Shot with a Fuji EF-X20 flash on the Epson R-D1 and Distagon 1.4/35. I've never been much of a flash user. Can anyone recommend a good basic flash instructional video?
