I just received my IIIF back Mr. Ye. It's fantastic. If you need CLA on your vintage Leica, I highly recommend him.

He did a basic CLA of my M2 this summer and did a great job. It was in the mail on its way back to me less than 48 hours after he received it. Highly recommend him!

Youxin Ye has worked on many cameras for me. He is an excellent repairman. If he misses something he will quickly fix it. He is human after all. He has fixed 3 Kardons offered to fix exakta. I sent a leica a month there for a while. I have used many repair people over the years. He is one of the best. I also enjoy discussing camera build quality with him when has has the time.

Agreed he's great. My experience with turnaround times is if you do as he suggests and write "Rush" on the outside of your package, he'll turn it around in a couple of days. If you don't write "Rush," it could be a couple of months.

I have a Leica iiic that needs a new shutter curtain and new beam splitter and was considering using him. Another repairman I found on eBay by the name Mr. Fuchs who claims he was a Leica repair shop supervisor for 50 years says he can CLA and do shutter curtain and beam splitter replacements on all LTM Leicas only. His prices are very friendly to my wallet, but I haven't seen his name thrown around in forums much so I don't know about the quality of his work. Anyways, I'm glad you had a great experience with Mr. Ye and will consider him for my current repair needs.

He has worked on all of my film Leicas and has also worked on several of my Leitz lenses. I have not found anyone, over these years, who has been as punctual and as proficient as Mr. Ye. He is very honest as well.
