Has anyone cracked the codes for Leica's 50mm Noctilux f/1.2 (11820) and 35mm f/1.4 (11869/11870/11860)?
I have a CV 50mm Nokton 1.1 which Sean Reid recommends manually coding as the 50mm Noctilux f/1.2 (11820). I also have a CV 35mm Nokton 1.2 which Sean recommends coding as the 35mm f/1.4 (11869/11870/11860). Neither Tim Isaac's Coder Kit 2.0 nor Whimster's coding sheet cover either of these Leica lenses, so I'm stumped.
Thanks,
Rich

6-bit codes for those lenses do not exist. It's strictly a manual entry through the menu. The folks who want their pre-asph 35 'luxs coded have to do so as a 35 asph.

What I did was to just assign profiles to the lenses I most commonly use and I change the user profile when I change lenses.

There is going to be virtually no difference between the Noctilux codes so unless you want to use 'manual' in the menu (and try to remember to change it every time you change lenses) just code it as a f/1 Noctilux. Same for the Summilux codes really. None of them are going to make a massive ground breaking difference if you want to experiment with the various options. Its only subtle changes you will see. You may find you prefer something other than what Sean Reid suggests.

This has been the greatest suggestion I've ever gleaned from RFF. Simple as can be. I've not bothered sending in my non-coded lenses yet.

Thanks for the responses. Guess I'll have to live with in camera manual coding of these two lenses.
