Does every gearhead own cameras and motorcycles?!!]
Not on a motorcycle, but on a bicycle. Several years back, I rode up Fall River Road (an unpaved dirt "jeep road") in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, on a rented mountain bike with a broken front shock. Started at about 8,000 feet and made it up to about 11,500, before it started snowing hard and I had to turn back because I could no longer see where I was going. This was in June... I took my humble and sturdy Oly Stylus, and even managed some shots. I'll have to dig them up.
By the way, it took about two hours to climb to 11.5K, and only 20 minutes or so to get down (wheee!!!) 😀
