i agree. however, you didnt do that. you first expressed a single one sentence negative thought. had there been some context or other thoughts expressed i probably wouldve had no reaction, nor i surmise would the author.
i look at a post like your first one and i wonder is the thought behind it that this single sentence will cause the author to question what obviously was a very considered decision? that he'll say 'wow, X person simply said he hated the presentation so i,ll change it instantly'? what effect were you trying for with that single sentence?
to me, if one wants--actually and really wants--to contribute something of value, they must go beyond simply saying 'i hate it'. to me thats a troll comment, not a meaningful constructive criticism.
