Industar 10- 50mm f3.5 FED Lens

The collapsible lens branded FED 50mm f3.5 on most Fed 1 and some FED 2 cameras.

These are some shots I made while getting my Pre Series FED 2 working. It’s a great lens and I always forget how good it can be !

It came with the very first camera I managed to repair. A Fed 1g. That’s what started my hobby. The lens was sharp, contrasty and gave nice colours. Should have the photos somewhere.

Mark, is your lens coated? I have an uncoated version, that has the blueish aperture blades and has a slightly shorter body, than the I22.
It is a great lens on B&W film!

Get them added to this page. The lens gets ignored even over the industar 22 from the Zorki but it’s a more than competent lens !

Yeah, this one is indeed coated. Even on the early FED2. Some of my earlier FED 1 bodies definitely have a lovely uncoated lens too. Although, I’ve not noticed if they’re shorter extending. I’ll have to double check that !
