Hi, does anyone know what filter size fits the I-22 collapsible lens? A filter which screws into the front, not a push-on type. Thanks

Industar-22 has filter size of 33mm AFAIK

That size is for the rigid I-22, not sure about the collapsible lens. It might be 19mm? For my I-22, there are threads around the front lens element, but I thought those are for the retaining ring and there doesn't seem to be enough depth to screw in a filter very well.Industar-22 has filter size of 33mm AFAIK

The Industar-22, if it's the collapsible one called "FED 1:3,5 F=50MM" takes the 19mm one that fits the original Elmar 5 cm. The Industar-50 collapsible one takes what looks like 22mm but I've not got one in the collection, yet...

The "FED 1:3,5 F=50MM" is actually the Industar-10, not a 22. Can't comment on the filter size though.

It takes a 19mm screw in filter. Waltz makes/made them....I just bought a new set on the bay.

I just measured with calipers my Industar-22 3.5/50mm # 52xxxxx and screw in filter diameter is 22.5mm, but that is measurement of the "hole" - treads thickness is extra.
A few days ago I bought nice set of 3 Heliopan 24mm filters (actually 23.9mm) and they do not fit in my lens.
Industar-22 push in filter diameter is 36mm.
If you can't find filter in right diameter you can always use gelatin filter and cut it to the size and mount it in front or behind the lens. It can be very convenient if you stay just with one kind of the filter. With Industar 22 you have nice flat rings in front and behind the lens to apply tiny bits of glue to hold the gelatin filter. I'm using same technique to hold gelatin filters on my Horizonts .
