I'm having problems finding any real info on this lens and I'm curious how difficult it would be to use one on an M2, or if I could buy one already modified for m2 use. The flickr pics I've seen of one on a rd1 look nice, but the only mention I've found of the Industar 69 is with the half frame Chaika, and using it with a R-D1.
Anyways, any experience using them on a full frame film rangefinder?

There have been several rather informative threads about them here:

Seeing how it vignettes already on the R-D1 in the shot in the last thread, I wouldn't hold my breath for results on full frame. It wouldn't be rangefinder coupled either.
EDIT: Ebay seller "RUSSIAN-VINTAGE" used to offer some that were supposedly modified for the R-D1. The ones he currently has on his webpage are apparently unmodified. He has some full frame shots with the lens. You can see how the image circle is too small, "vignetting" isn't just the word.

Oh well. Not really in the market for a 28mm lens, but I saw one on ebay for something like $19 and would've had a hard time turning that down if I could've made it work on my m2.
-doomed-
film is exciting
I used one on a bessa, and have some examples are in my flickr. I had to file off 1mm of material to get it to focus more correctly. It vignettes like crazy, but overall it's a fun snapshooter on a full frame.
