I just purchased an M39 Nikkor 35mm f/2.5, and now I need to find the right adapter for my Zeiss Ikon. It has the infinity lock, which Stephen Gandy says won't work properly with the Type II LTM > M adapters. So, it looks like I need one that has the divot cut out of it, which isn't available for the 35mm framelines via Voigtlander.
Doing some research, I came across Fotodiox, which makes a 35mm/135mm adapter with the cut out.
Anyone have experience with these? Should I try to hunt down a real Leitz adapter?
Thanks.

As long as the adapter is the proper 1mm thick -it should work well. You can also remove the infinity look and use the remains on the lens, the tube, as a focussing tab. Just put the screw/spring and "cap" in a filmcan somewhere to re-install it if you ever want to sell the lens again.
