I quite like it so far. My only issue has been the strap lug breaking off. David from Pixii emailed me back and said that based on the internal images I sent him, I have an older model and had the original strap lug design. They have since updated the lugs and now have a more secure locking pin so it can't happen again. He offered to fix my camera under warranty, even though I bought it used, if I shipped it to France. I'm holding off for now to see if I can wait until I can opt for the Max full frame sensor upgrade too or if they can just send me the parts to replace it myself.

My experience with David is that he is a stand up guy. He is trying very hard to get this little French camera company into the black. I have liked mine since I got it, the A1571. It makes good images. That is what I got it for. It has some quirks. OK, it has some quirks. But on balance it works well. I do have to send it off to David for the FF upgrade along with the upgraded RF. I have gotten good images with it and am interested that it will do a RAW mono image. Yeah, it uses some tricks to do it. It makes RAW mono. David and his mecs are a clever bunch. I am glad you are enjoying yours as much as you are.

David has responded to each and every question I've had, it can just take some time. That isn't a complaint, but an admission that it is an extremely small company and he is stretched thin. I knew what I was getting into when I purchased a Pixii and I love tinkering with things, so yes, I am really enjoying the camera.
I think what I miss most about all other cameras is an on/off switch around the shutter button to quickly turn the camera on and off. The power button works ok, but is a bit fiddly.
Side note: I bought a 3d printed NP-FW50 battery holder from eBay for $8 and it works great. Holds 3 batteries, has tabs that locks the batteries in and covers the electrical contacts. I bought a few 2-packs of the 'artman' branded batteries that each have a built in USB-C port for charging. They work great so far. Just in case anyone needed some power.

Saw that video the other day. Didn't impress me... Why focus so much on Leica owners and Leica M rather than the Pixii?
In a couple of cases, the things he's ballyhooing as great and modern ... like the LCD readout on the top deck for settings .. are exactly the things I took some issue with ... like that LCD readout on the top deck is virtually impossible to see in sunlight (Panasonic did a much better job with an LCD readout of settings with the L1 camera using the large, clear, and easy to see rear LCD). And the biggest negative ... the fact that one of my average 1-2 hour walks consumed 2 to 3 batteries with the Pixii ... doesn't seem to have changed at all.
They should focus on that, and on making the haptics actually work in the kind of conditions that a photographer has to use the camera in. A positive feel to the shutter release, clear indications in all lighting of the settings, and batteries that last a reasonable amount of time per charge were the three lacks that basically made the Pixii unusable for me.
I think the Pixii is a remarkable effort by a new company but it is not yet ready for prime time, IMO.
