inspiration needed, please

i have new to me 50/1.5 and a 35/3.5 lenses [...] how about posting some indoor/table top shots to offer as inspiration and as a sanity saver for this old street shooter.

Any church in your neighbourhood? That 50/1.5 should do the job...

i normally size my internet photos at about 850 on the long side @ 72dpi.

Aad, that's lovely. Crop a bit of the bottom off and you have a fantastic shot.
My theory on faces is that unless you know the person, are supposed to recognise them, or need to see some sort of reaction or expression you just don't need to see the face. I do have a habit of saying controversial/sacreligious things though.

There are those that have a religious objection to no-face shots :-(

That's an interesting point, James. One I hadn't thought of-though I have seen shots (that I liked) that used that concept. Thanks- I'm still learning to see!
