My (not sure what we are right now girlfriend) spent a summer as a child with HCB and his wife in France. His widow is actually spending time in CA with her (my GF's) mother right now. She's a great photographer in her own right too (his widow).
We went this summer to the HCB show at MOMA/NYC and it was truly incredible to see this man's work up close.
He also traveled for decades all around the world, serious trekking in all forms, through some turbulent times. Unbelievable work and life.
