Instax 1:1 (square format) announced

Cool but the image is still pretty small.

Current Instax Mini is 62mm by 46mm

The new square one is 62mm by 62mm.

I'm still in though!

Spring 2017? This gives plenty of time for Lomography to make a 1x1 compatible camera.

Even more evidence that Fuji was *totally* right in their assessment that the market doesn't need FP-100C due to low demand

Neat! Now the MiNT TLR instant camera can be revised for the new film and have the proper format. ;-)

This is interesting. I wish it was 76mm X 76mm like IP film, but 62mm X 62mm ain't bad. Of course if the put the film in a junk camera, like the current Instax stuff, I may stay on the sidelines.

curious to see if anyone will dive into adapters to run instax in SX-70. I'm thinking we've got some competition between fuji and impossible. Lets just hope fuji doesn't take over the market then kill it years later.

Screw this.

And screw Fuji(Film when it suits us). I'll stick to supporting Impossible, who at least continue to innovate with their emulsions and have a love for instant photography AS WELL as da filthy lucre.

There. I said it.

Very Interesting... As others have mentioned, if the price is reasonable count me in as well. I absolutely LOVE polaroid and square format as well. (I currenty own an SLR680) I just don't love anything about the price.
