Real Men Shoot Film.
Has a Konica lens. I wonder if that is who made the camera?

The book Leica Copies by HPR states on page 175 that the Chiyoca 35 was produced for the Chiyoca Shoki camera shop in the Ginza in Tokyo by the Reise Optical Institute (later Reise Camera Company, Ltd.). The cameras were produced in 1951 or 1952, was a copy of the Leica standard, and have no serial numbers. The rigid 50/3.5 Hexar was the lens that was sold with the camera.

I read something a long time ago that the Hexar lens on that camera was a modified enlarging lens. The book Leica Copies by HPR states on page 175 that the Chiyoca 35 was produced for the Chiyoca Shoki camera shop in the Ginza in Tokyo by the Reise Optical Institute (later Reise Camera Company, Ltd.).
