Interesting lens conversion, where is Roland?

Very interesting !

My favorite 50 on film.

I was going back and forth on having mine converted by MiyasakiSan, already had a quote for it. But it's an irreversible conversion (different from your eBay post), and I hated the idea of making my lens unusable on my om1.

So I bought a nokton 1.1 instead and am happy - the results look strikingly similar.

Thanks for posting !

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. That a super fast newish 50 mm lens at a good deal of a price for an M camera would be the Nokton f1.1 and the fast Zuiko 50mm should be left unmolested to fit the fine OM cameras. It is an interesting conversion none the less.

Just be careful with older versions of Nokton 50mm/1.1 as they are ment for film and focus is quite off on digital.
I had to do a hard mod on mine (my M8 has been calibrated by Leica).
You can put a nailpolish on the cam of the lens, but it is a temporary solution.
