Interesting lens test on p.net

Thanks for that link that was an interesting test to how the different lens reacted in the same light and F-stop... Cool stuff I have not been going on the pnet to much lately it got kinda nasty

so, the contrast was a bit different on some and the summar seemed a bit softer than the rest.

9 out of 10 shooters/non shooters couldn't tell the difference without the captions.

The guy has more 50's than I do. Makes me feel a little better...

Nice cat. Nice Cotes du Rhone wine, too.

The human model looks a little tired of the whole business, though.

Nothing technical to say here, but I think it's funny the woman gets more and more irritated with every lens test to where she disappears all together. Reminds me of my wife, although she would kill me if I ever posted photos like that.

How much does a 'lens test' tell you after it's been through a scanner and the internet? If my pics were as bad as they look on a monitor I'd have given up years ago. I can make them look good on any one monitor but on another untested monitor all bets are off.

Cheers,

Roger
