Not so new now.
On a recent outing, we shot some B&W which I developed the next night.
On the Acros, I accidentally used too much syrup when mixing-and got very contrasty scans with little grey at all, when using the Minolta SDIV.
I remembered I used to like the Epson 4490 for certain shots, just gave it a try-and hey, I can see real detail where before it was burned-out white!
I'll play a little more, but this is a pleasant surprise.
