Have you ever had site in your favorites and it's now a dead link?
Have you ever wondered what the RFF site looked like a year ago?
Have you ever updated your own site beyond recognition and wants to see what it looked like last month?

The answer to those and a bunch of other questions are easy to answer by using the free site http://www.archive.org

Many of you may already know of this site but to me it was a great, new find and I have already used it to look at some of my favorite, now dead links (oh and I also did look at RFF the way it looked a year+ ago (I remember that layout very well) :)

Just in case anyone would benefit from this.

Ok..words can not describe how cool this is!!

Six years ago I created a site on geocity and uploaded some photos to it.
It has been deleted a LONG time ago as it was inactive...

I was just able to retrieve the internet log for that site and found 10-15 photos that I thought were gone forever (the negatives are scattered over a few places I've lived in since...).

They are not 'great' photos in any way but they hold a lot of sentimental values for me. Here is one of the 'rescues' - lost for several years:

These were the topics that were displayed on the front page of RFF on August 7, 2003 (and joe had a total of 158 posts ... )

:D Now this is fun, I've been able to trace the page a friend and I made about one of our favorite games back then.

Thanks for this link Rich ! Joe with 158 posts... that had to be probably one month ago ;)

Wow, we discussing this yesterday at work, as we maintain a web site that still supports Netscape 1 users. Thanks for the link.
