I find it oddly hilarious that Sherry commented on the article to say it sucked!

On the brighter side, she mentioned that Don Goldberg is training his son to repair Leicas. I wonder how old he is, though. Don is close to 80, isn't he? His son would have to be in his 50s; he needs a grandson to train, too!

As I recall Sherry lives on Purgatory Road, maybe that’s it.

Simply Superb Interviews ( all three !!! )

A great insight into how hard these dedicated practitioners really have to work ( or is it slave ? )
to keep us Leica Lovers satisfied.

Thank you very much

I'm still laughing :ROFLMAO: at this post on Photrio:
I met her in NYC one time, we ended up haviing lunch. She yelled at me and called me a moron for wanting to buy a certain camera. 😁

She deffinately is a character.

I only met her once when I picked up my cameras from a service on a visit to the US. She said she didn’t know why she bothered with my gear because she was sure my photos were awful. I laughed, but I never went back.
She sounds like a hoot!

I can’t even write the worst of her berating comments, and certainly not my opinion of SK. Now I really like my Nikons.

Don said that he is 68.

The interview with Don is dated April 13, and in the interview he says he’s 68 years old. Ha! I never imagined he was younger than me… Anyway, very good news that he’s training his son!
