Stumbled over this on bookface and to be honest I'm no huge fan of Eggleston's images but I've always liked Drew Barrymore ... and although short it's an interesting interview. LINK

Thanks Keith! That was a great read. I think Drew is wonderful, too. She can even make an Adam Sandler movie almost bearable. No mean feat, that...

interesting. cropping is always cropping. but color in the '50s is not the same as color now.

I like this quote by DB:

"If I die before my cat, I want a little of my ashes put in his food so I can live inside him." - Drew Barrymore

The Wedding Singer?

Actually that is the only Adam Sandler Movie I've ever seen that didn't make me grind my teeth ... it was quite good and as you say Drew is indeed wonderful and not your atypical Hollywood starlet. 🙂

Wonderful little piece. I too like Drew Barrymore. I like Eggleston a little more after this too: especially his eminently sensible retreat to the side of the beautiful young woman, who never told him colour was bull****.

Thanks for the link, Keith.
Color is bull&^%$ is a thing of the past.
Some people are still struggling with: digital imaging is bull&^%$. 😀
