Introducing Fuji X100S

I am very impressed by the way Fuji listens to its customers. With the X100S, the company appears to have resolved the manual focusing issue that has bothered some users. I am eager to see how this sensor performs. It seems to be improved over the X-Pro1 and XE-1.

don't really care about the MF. AF worked okay for me, even extreme closeups. Glad to see a better sensor and improved AF. Looks like a keeper to me.

I remember the threads about the XPro1, adn the orginal X100. I can't wait to hear all the opinions about how terribly flawed this new X100s is before anyone has even touched it...

Fuji should be commended for the amazing work they're doing these days. Now if they can start making cine stock again...

Nice second generation upgrade. This is giving me a GAS attack... But I am still happy with the x100. On the other hand, I can't wait for the xp2 announcement:D. I have been wanting a second xp body more.

"Also new to the FUJIFILM X100S is the world’s first (*5) “Digital Split Image” feature, which displays dual images on the left and right to be lined up for manual focusing. "

Well there is your digital rangefinder! Not sure if I will use this function, because I have grown quite accustomed to even Fuji's auto focus. But I am definitely curious to see it!

What also caught my eye is the 36mbs Full HD movie mode with 60fps. I suspect they use the AVCHD codec to get this framerate, though not set in stone. In any case this could get us some real nice slowmo video without moire. Never thought I would use a Fuji cam for video, but we'll see!

This sounds fabulous! 25% more resolution!?! 30% less noise!?! Fuji really has their act together and is a force to be reckoned with in the future. Really looking forward to this and the 2nd generation xpro

btw accessory list misses adapter for mounting filters. Fuji did things right for this time or just list is incomplete?
