Introduction

Been lurking around for a few weeks so it's about time I said hello. I live in Tokyo and have been shooting digital for about three years. Prior to that I shot a lot of bird photography using Canon bodies and manual focus (FD) lenses.

I bought a Bessa R3A and Nokton 40mm about a month ago. I have been a very happy with it. Having graduated from using Pentax DSLR the Bessa is perfect for my current shooting projects. I load it with lford XP2 Super and the results are scanned with Nikon Coolscan V ED.

From your photos your getting on well with the new kit. Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll enjoy getting to know the croud here.

There are a quite a number here who have moved on from or added RFs to digital SLRs. A number of people here shoot many formats also. Have fun.

Thanks for taking the time to welcome me on board and looking at my photos. I should have a second gallery up in a week or so.

As for GAS I hope I'm in rehab. I own Pentax and the glass they provide is addictive. I think I struck it lucky with the Nokton...though perhaps something a little wider.
