One thing I've found, being a relaitve newbie myself, is how darn friendly just about everyone--no, lets be generous--how EVERYONE is on this site. It's funny, we're just a disparate bunch of people who happen to like owning and shooting rangefinder cameras, for the most part. Some of us spend a heck of a lot of time tech talking, and some less so. It's fun. I generally visit once or twice a day, but then, I'm home alot, writing, so it makes for a "virtual pencil sharpening", in other words, doing something other than what I should be doing on the computer. Anyway, welcome. I have had some good experience with the classifieds: its easier than eBay, and cheaper, too, only two bucks to place an ad, no "final value fee" and all that stuff. I've bought a lens here and sold a Leica IIIf recently, with no hassle. I only wish I could afford to get a scanner so I could start putting up some of my photos, because I kind of feel a bit like I'm not sharing, but it will have to wait. Christmas present, maybe. Huh..doubt it, unless its to myself.
