why reds are so ****ty in digital?

THIS is why I fell in love with film.

It is rarely discussed and I recall a topic on P.net Some colors do have an off hue such as red being rather orange. It may be a bayer thing as Foveons do have a different rendition.

I do agree -having an iPhone 6- that phones give a greater flexibility and very good results vs compact cameras of past.
