Just this guy, you know?
$8 to do what a free website & stopwatch does? It would have to agitate the tank for me to make it worth it.
I, er, don't imagine it does.
I does conversions for temperature, variable agitation schedules, and progress meters which tell you which step you are supposed to be on. None of this is strictly necessary, but it is all useful.
Oh, and it keeps track of film / developer combinations that you use and modifications you make to the timing. All in all, it is a fancy notebook (have you seen the price of notebooks?) and a stopwatch (have you seen the price of timers?)
Complaining about paying $8 (once) for something that someone worked very hard on, and which works very well, is kind of silly, but I guess you can just not use it.

a while ago someone rang me, the phone was it my shirt pocket and I was in the darkroom ... loading film into a tank when it lit up like spotlight. I don't take my mobile anywhere near the darkroom now.

Thank you all for reply, the app seem to be very useful. However there are also things to be aware of when using it, like turning on/off the flight mode. So consider the pros I think I'll go for it. All the best to you cheer!
