my canon 135/3.5 arrived in today's mail.
this was paid for weeks after the 100mm lens that still is in the wind.
but what's ironic is that i have been waiting for SOMETHING to show up in the mail and it comes today.
just after my appointment with the opthamalogist.
just after getting drops in my eyes that opened my very own apertures so much that any light source flares like crazy.
can't use the thing for another hour or so.
oh well...
after much squinting the lens seems to be in great shape. the seller advertised it as well used but flawless glass and that is the case. it is lovely. small, heavy and well balanced on the canon 'p'.
and i have a 135 finder on the way, thanks to our 'trading' post.
(too puny?)
i have a question though.
the filter size is 48 and i had a nice yellow filter waiting by the door to put on the lens. but the filter seems to have more threads than the lens has to accept them. in short, the filter does not screw all the way on the lens. i have never experienced this before.
is this normal? does anyone see any future problem with this set up?
now i need to find a nice lens shade/hood for this rig.
i wonder if/when the 100 will show and the 85 has been shipped.
oh boy...
