I've got a spiffy Jupiter-9 that was purchased under false assumption. I thought it would fit my rangefinder, but the registration is wrong although the thread size is correct. The 85mm/f2 lens is in wonderful condition. If you'd like to do some horse-trading, let me know.....I'm easy, although stuff considered needs to be for LSM, 39mm.

Regards!

I've seen several SLR Jupiters sold on eBay as "Leica/FED/Zorki fit". I messaged one seller to point this out and he replied that "hopefully the buyers will be more knowledgeable".

I have a Zenit C that it would fit....

Hi!

The guy I bought this one from wasn't well enough schooled to understand the differences, and assured me that it would fit my RF. Yeah, the threads would fit, but the optical registration was/is different.

Regards!

They fit simply because they're 39mm threaded! Optically they're quite wrong of course. They are physically different enough to spot from a pic, however...IF you know what to look for!

Usefully, the RF lenses make good close-up lenses on the Zenit...
