Is it ethical to discuss someones else's personal ethics?

p.s. Kudos to the person posting in the "other" thread who edited their submission to be more "ethical" that it had been.

If one has no ethics, is one precluded from this conversation?

No, that would be like excluding an atheist from a discussion of religion. Nonbelievers bring a rich and interesting perspective to the conversation. As do perverts, psychopaths, and rude people to the discussion of ethics.

The question requires some clarification before it can be answer with any degree of clarity.

Are we asking from a normative ethics point of view? or a descriptive ethics POV?

Is it ethical to answer "who cares!" to an ethical question posed by someone who cares, yet doesn't know like what the word "ethical" means totally ever?
