I cannot say that the link you provided has enlightened me, as my Russian is nonexsistent, but, I would say, yes, it is possible. In my experience anything one can think up will happen, and then some....

Why the heck not? If you have your bag over just one shoulder and not across your chest, they will drive by on a motorbike and grab it right off your shoulder. Sit down for a moment without wrapping the strap around your leg or body? They'll take it before you even notice it.

One single moment of carelessness is all that's required for you to lose whatever it is you think you've got a grasp on. I know I'm not perfect, are you?

A short blade swiftly used and any single strap bag could be gone, in the not too distant past many people used to carry two bodies for different things (film speed, slide v neg etc). Yes it's possible and unfortunate.

Glad I just use my old digi IXUS these days🙄

Some bags in Europe have wires in the strap to prevent the razor blade thing.

I like my small FX5 as it has a shoulder strap and belt strap. It also stabalizes the load too. I have a couple others also with the same set up. Nice when you are hiking hard terrain.

A M collection in bag is excellent life/injury/med treatement insurance:

Alternative is to pocket a collapsible like HCB, or a j12, or
Use several Kievs in a expensive bag, works nearly as well, less expensive, youneed to keep screwdrivers and other expensive tools in bag as well, or
Pack a S&W .44 where it is legal and go to jail if you can shoot ok.

A M + J12 (and LTM adopter) will fit into the standard collapsible hard case, with hood built in! This will hang over shoulder inside jacket, closed or open. A good J12 is a mean performer

A 2.8 28mm '70 will fit into the standard large front hardcase, with a squeeze, - with the hood in pocket.

You can fill the gadget bag with engineering bricks, and unexposed film.
