Is there a general No-No list for handling manual cameras?

I wouldn't stress it too hard HLIng... I've used tons of different cameras and never broke any of them from forcing anything.

Either you're too sensible to force things, or you've never forced hard enough.

I learned early on in life that forcing things ruins things. However, with cameras, I've been lucky. They just seem to work and keep working and there hasn't been much to force. Now that I'm 99.9% digital, there is nothing to force anymore.
