Is there a "standard" in panoramic dimensions/ratio ?

I've seen a few panoramic shots in the past year and I'm not sure if there's a "standard" in terms of dimensions or ratio.

I always thought that it might be 4"x10" but now I'm thinking that this may not be the case.

I'm merely curious in case I decide to start cropping or printing panoramic photos.

It really does vary. This shop sells frames with the window at 1:2.8 ratio.

I had an old widelux that was 1:2.25.

There current cameras that use 120 roll film and are 6x17 which = 1:2.8.

There are some slit type pano cameras that are much wider.

I just try to keep them between a ratio of 1:2 and 1:3. Depends on the crop I want.
