Is this normal? (Leica MP and Soft Release users)

Hi there,

I use a soft release with my MP.
However, since using the soft release, i've realized that there is a small 'rotationary' give in the shutter button itself that is more apparent with the soft release in place. Is this normal?

I think this is normal but just thought i'd double check..............

It is normal. With the Softie on it - you actually see this movement - but without the Softie only the small release turns on the camera and unless you stare at it - you would not notice. I suspect that it is the meter contact arrangement that causes it. The turn is less than 10-15 degrees of the circumference.

It felt normal to me but thought i'd ask the many experts here just to be safe. Thanks again for the reply =D

Obviously you need to buy three more RF's to match the Softie collection!
