Is this Tri-X from Kodak just new packaging?

I don't know, but I highly doubt they'd mess with Tri-X -- they'd have a riot on their hands. Are they using the old-ish (80s?) logo (red square in the upper part of the box) generally? I was never crazy about it myself.

Presumably unchanged. I saw Ektar 100 in 135 recently in Melbourne in a box with the Portra mauve blaze on it. Weird. Now this Kodak Ektar 100 PROFESSIONAL matching the new Tri-X. Marketing. I did not buy the mauve Ektar I have to say.

My impression is that Eastman Kodak has retaken the marketing and sales of Kodak film, in addition to making it. So I think the new packaging marks this return by Eastman Kodak to handling most, if not all, of the aspects of producing and selling these iconic films.
