Iskra vertical alignment ?

Few weeks ago I've became a proud owner of an Iskra 😀 .

I’ve purchased it from Alex-photo in good condition for pretty small amount of money as it has been converted and back-holed to 6x4.5. Owing to Ruben, I’ve passed all introductory problems and successfully treat light leaking threats and finally shot one test roll of Efke R25. I’m totally astonished with results of the first roll and I’ll post photos when they come back from the lab. I would like make some fine tuning now, and it includes:

- Vertical and horizontal rf alignment
- Removing the top plate of the camera
- Re-skinning the camera

So, any advice or tip will be welcome.

Horizontal alignment id easy; look at the camera from the front, at the botton right of the lens/shutter there is a small arm with one screw in the axis of the lens, and another securing it perpendicular to that axis.
Unscrew the lock, then gently screw/unscrew the axis one until you are calibrated. then re-tighten the lock screw..

For vertical alignment, the screw is situated left of the hot shoe. You will see a small metal stopper there. Unscrew it with a rubber stopper (or a pair of pliers wrapped in rubber so it doesn't get scratched)

To remove the top you need to remove the winder; just unscrew the screw in the middle (the one with the two holes). I think you also need to remove the film reminder (same principle, unscrew from the top)
Then from the inside of the camera under the film reminder there is a large screw to move; and I think thats it; the top will pivot out of the way!
