ISO 24,000 Film from Kodak

No, that's not a typo. This week at the International Congress of Imaging Science in Rochester, NY, Kodak researchers presented a new silver halide emulsion that is thermally developed to produce a positive image at speeds of up to ISO 24,000. You can read the conference abstract here: http://www.imaging.org/conferences/icis06/details.cfm?pass=38

Kodak is currently seeking to determine whether there is sufficient demand for such a film to justify a trial production run. More in this thread over at APUG ( http://www.apug.org/forums/showthread.php?t=27579&page=1&pp=10 ), including instructions on how to communicate your interest to Kodak.

cheers

Doh! Must have missed that - sorry!

Actually, I don't think the other thread got much play. Would be helpful if we had gotten a link to it rather than you getting a reprimand!

Jeez!
