It arrived Today

Hey all,

The Minolta Hi-Matic 9 that I bought just arrived. It is in used but very good condition. Shutter, Aperture, Self-timer work at all settings. Viewfinder bright and clear with good yellow patch. Meter working with Wein cell. Lens is clear and it came with a Vivitar Skylight filter. The case is in very good condition with a few wear marks. From the sticker inside the camera, it looks like the camera was cleaned in '74 and then put away and not used very often. I'll do a touchup cleaning and then run a roll of film through it tomorrow.

From the specs it didn't sound much bigger than my Canonet GIII QL17, but it sure is. 😱

The size is always a surprise to me. Mostly they are bigger than I thought when they arrive, but sometimes smaller. Like a 6x6 folder I just bought. It is much smaller than I thought. Let us see some photos. I sure looks clean in the attachment.
