It had to do with volume pricing discounts and allocations of films that were in short supply. Just remember that when both B&H and Adorama are out of stock of a particular film, everyone else could still be getting shipments.

First it was 800Z now 400H?

800z is a pinnacle of iso 800... ;-) 400H - ehhh not so much in 400. I wish they would replace it with another 400 with 800z's tonality

Sheesh, 400H has to be one of their biggest sellers to anyone using negative film for weddings and such.

I wonder how many wedding photogs use film this days. I realize there could be some using digital+film for specific shots, though film-only wedding business is doubtful business this days, when every bride wants thousands of pictures on DVD.

I fully accept there are people happy with 30 pictures (which would be enough for me), though they don't dominate market, I guess? So who is using 400H except us amateurs and few pros - I'd be happy to learn I'm totally wrong.
