A really nice external finder for Leica/Nikon would be the 28/35 Voigtlander mini-finder. Very clear accurate view, small, and can just stay on the camera, and you can use the whole field of view for a 24/25 lens.
 
i thought about the duel finder but decided that i wanted the more traditional looking one and it's supposed to be excellent.

no finder for the j12 brian, i will be like the kevin costner, in the movie the bodyguard. i will close my eyes and envision the scene and shoot!

that reminds me when I paid about 80$ for a vintage J12 after overbidding... and not counting the wire transfer costs... nothing like paypal! by the way, i've got a nice zeiss vf on the auction site, if you feel like *really* emptying your paypal fund! Enjoy the CV, meanwhile.... ;)
