Hi all,
I won this on ebay on Tuesday night, the Voightlander
25mmf4 SC Skopar Rangefinder lens. it's in great shape
I was told by the seller it wasn't used and it was a pre-
production lens sent to Robert Rotoloni to I suppose test
and I won it on ebay. This is my widest lens I ever had on
a rangefinder, when I had the Leica I had 35mm and 90mm
which I loved, but now it's the Nikon S2. There is one thing
when I screw on the lens hood it doesn't stay you guy 's
have any ideas how to tighten that up a little. will add picks
later.

These lenses are something special. Still got to watch my exposure's, but that's what happens
when you shoot digital in all auto.

Being a pre-production model, maybe someone wasn't keeping good tabs on the QC. You could try getting some of that window cling film, put it on the lens threads, then run the hood in.

Congrats, I remember Moriyama Daido used a Nikkor 25/4 on his S2 for many of his early works, this should be better.

It is real nice, I did fit the hood the other night I bend it a little
and now it fits tighter which I like better, nothing like a little wear
and tear.
