New York It's that time of year, so step up!

Phil, I am not familiar with the Leica Users Group. Where are they located? How can I join them? I would appreciate it if any RFF members can give me any feedback on this. Thanks in advance. Russell
P.S. Happy New Year to all. (in advance)

Phil, do you know if Jim accepts panos for the yearbook?

I think he would, no problem but you're not going to get a double-truck. You're just going to get the panoramic across one page of the book. You have a couple days. Email him and ask directly (the yahoo address) or send him a PM here, he's Thambar on RFF. (Email would be faster though.) I'm sure there's no problem with a panoramic though.

The LUG exists in cyber-space, so to speak. The server's physical location is in the SF Bay area but there are thousands of members from all over the world. NYC has a LUG group that meets formally once a year, usually at the School of the ICP and informally, usually over Indian food in mid-town Manhattan.
There are a few other LUG groups that have meetings but I think it comes down to friends just getting together for coffee or lunch or whatnot.
