Very sad. I just sent them an email telling them how much I would miss them and their products. They were always so easy to deal with, had products I had a hard time getting elsewhere and shipped quickly.

I went to their site a few minutes ago to place an order and saw their message.

Agree. This is a very bad news.

I do not know anything about color films (see my recent posting) but this was the place where I used to buy my b&w.

As already said I would suggest freestyle. They have a lot, not all I am afraid...

Efke can replace Adox...some of them.

Ugh! Hate dealing with purchases from Europe- I just ordered 10 rolls of efke 25 from B&H- that will have to tide me over.

photoimpex was very helpful with getting me developing info after the J&C site was in transition. Perhaps I will get ahold of them- may give me a chance to use my corroded (well past rusty) high school german.

Stevew- if you don't mind my asking what was your final cost for the CMS? Did they ship the developer overseas?
Retrophotographic seems like the British J&C. We B&W shooters & printers over here have a lot to thank those Brits for.
