Bought two 30m canisters (plastic) of 100 and 400 ASA from Jessops.
Anyone know what I have bought or do I develope the first few inches to see what the rebate says? There will be a rebate?

About 21 GBP per 30m I'll try a length and report.

I think it'll be rebranded on the rebate too, I believe they have chopped and changed their source over the years depending on what is cheapest between Agfa, Foma and Forte film stocks.

The rebate will say Jessopan, but I'm fairly certain the last I had was Agfa.

Dev and scan >12 B&W 36 exp;
About 12 cameras in pieces! some need spares e.g. Kiev shutter ribbon, some need tools e.g. pin vice
Still have loaded cassettes to use

May be able to soup this week (multi tanks) and open both bulk rolls, will advise on Thursday as I'm working away from home 1st part of next week.
But I wont be using the Jessops before friday next at earliest sorry.

Cheers Gareth, I normally stock up at 7dayshop, but this stuff is even cheaper than their bulk packs of HP5+. I only need this for mucking about for my photo course.

Bloody hell - was it really August when I posted this?
Anyway, I've run 14 rolls of the 18.5 I got out of the 30m roll.
I've been developing in Ilfosol S (1+9) and Econodev 2 (1+49) - not much between them to be honest.
I really do not like this film, the grain and latitude @ 400 are on a par with HP5+ @ 1600 and the grain is not pleasant (to me).
I pushed it to 800 once but the grain was worse than Delta 3200 @ 3200.
Just my opinion, but the Jessopan 400SX is to be avoided - if anyone want to try it before they buy a canister, let me know - I have some spare rolls.
May be worth pulling... there's an idea.

My progress has been limited, I bought some of the outdated APX400 mentioned in Film Dinos post, and an additional 2nd hand daylight loader.
'RK Photo still had 68m Aug'05 bulk 'cans' at 5.00 GBH after I bought ten off today.' was what I did early Jan07.
Your advice is useful I'll try the Jessops at 200 in Rodinal 1:50, I'll report results.
