Jobo 2509n spacers

Does anybody has a good photo of how those spacers should be put in? I can get them in in 2 ways and no idea which is the correct one.

If you look on top of the spiral then it can look as <o> or >o< if < is a spacer.

To the best of my knowledge, the spacers are inserted to look like >o<

Now another question, there is a tranparant reel and a black one. Should any of them be at the top when you put it in the tank?

I believe it doesn't matter, at least I have used it both ways when developing 4x5.
