Jobo CPE2 problems and ... solutions

The Jobo CPE2 processor has two major problems.
Problem1:
as there is no forced water circulation a temp. difference of 2 to 3 degr between the left and the right side.
Problem2:
Impossible to stabilize the temp at 38 degr. (required for C41 and E6)

Solution1:
Install a small aquarium pump at the right side with a tube extending to the left

Solution2:
aquarium heater adjusted to 38 degr installed at the bottom

I don't have the CPE but I use my kitchen sink with a couple of water heaters as you say. They do take a while to callibrate so one it set to 35 degrees ad the other is tuned to 38. Works a treat for both E6 and C41. The heaters are from Nova Darkroom in the UK and are a lot less than the cost (to me) of a good CPE.
