cc for $7 at the local Goodwill
First post--sorry to revive such an old thread. I've learned a lot from lurking around here and would like to say thanks to everyone for sharing their thoughts!
Anyway, a few months ago, I picked up a very lightly used 35CC from the Goodwill in Hillsboro, OR, for $7 not really knowing what it was. Put a roll through it not expecting much--it was so quiet--aren't film cameras supposed to make A LOT more noise? I was absolutely blown away by the sharpness of that Yashinon lens. It has the best resolution I've ever seen for 35mm film!
I just bought a Lynx 14 for $50 and am waiting for it to arrive. I did see that the barrel is dented at the filter threads, but otherwise, it looks to be in good shape. I am a rangefinder (leaf shutter) convert after years of being told that the Spotmatic was the greatest camera ever--just look at that 1.4 Takumar!
I even bought a couple of TLRs because I liked the leaf shutters so much...
