Joining the ranks of Nikon Rangefinderians...

Thanks Wes, I'll copy that info. Don't need it for this camera...but I got a feelin' this ain't my last one!
 
Vertical can be adjusted on an S3. It's just a different screw in a different location. I can't recall it's location. I think its under the top plate, but you access it by taking off the front plate, and the screw is near the seam between the top and front plates.
