Canada July RFF Meet?

Where is John??
Haven't heard from him in a while.
Maybe Dave D's "bidness" will have calmed down for a while and he can join us.
Note to Dave D--was at Wings's yesterday and their accountant--named Keel--I think has several Land Cruisers.
He was driving one 1980ish or so yesterday--the one that resembles a CJ6.
Do you know him?
If not, you ought to encourage him to come to your shop.
Dave L--hope Linda is doing better!
Paul

Okay, Paul, is there anyone else to contact about coming to the July meet?

Confirmed so far:

1. Paul Beavin
2. David Dearborn
3. Dave Lackey

Paul--right now--Manuel's in Va Highlands.
We ate there when everyone was here in April.
DaveL--how about John Wilson?
Haven't heard from him in a while..
And of course--Steve--Barry--all the gang and anyone else.
PaulB

Thanks for the invite Paulbe, but that's kind of a long trip for lunch. That said I have some stuff I need to deliver to Dave D sometime or other.

Hey Barry--who knows??!!
We might even mosey down to little five points and take some pix...:)
In any event--we'd enjoy seeing you if you can make it...
Paul

Great!
We'd love to see ya!
There are some great photo venues within walking distance of Manuel's--so when we tire of telling each other what great photographers we are :)-))--we can go out and walkabout.
Or visit Wings or Showcase..or--I'll bet DaveD has a great suggestion--or two.
Hope to see you on the 23rd and really hope you are getting mo' betta each day..
PaulB

that is a possibility ...

Hey, cool! You are feeling better... After 4 days in the hospital, I asked my bride how she felt a few minutes ago and on a scale of 1-10, she said 8!!!

Keep this up and I'll come to Birmingham in August for a meet up if I have to ride my bicycle!:D

Back to Manuel's, who else besides these guys?

With a little more specificity on the location of Manuel's, I could most likely make it.

Wow! That would be great! Where ya coming from?:D

Here is a link to the map for finding Manuel's. Cool place that has been around for quite awhile. Even in the late 70's when we (graduate students) met with professors from Georgia Tech to discuss planning and other topics.;)

Turned out to be a tradition with city planners on campus every Friday!

Dave, I don't see a map link. But it sounds like it's in Georgia, so that's a bit out of my range for now. Coming from Roanoke, VA.

Virginia is not too far! Our first annual RFF Meet in April had folks from South Florida, Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee. Maybe you can make our next RFF Meet in 2012? Or, one in Tennessee, as we are a travelling bunch of photo gypsies, too.:)

farlymac--yep--Manuel's is definitely in GA--an Atlanta institution!
Sorry you can't make it--maybe we'll head up that way on one of our future trips..
Speaking of travel, I'd sure like for our group to travel allllllll the way over to B'ham alabam--maybe paulfish (and anyone else who wants to) can meet us there.
Really grand photo ops in B'ham. The Sloss furnace alone would be worth the trip.
Maybe for the fall when the humidity isn't over 200%.
