Jupiter 11 question

Well, it's not exactly a RF thread... Yesterday I bought on the flea market Jupiter 11 (10$) - quite nice condition, very clean glass, untouched purple coating, but... only later I realized it's SLR mount (M39), not RF. Question - how does it compare with J-11 RF lens, is it worth keeping (I don't have any SLR to mount it on, would need to buy one) or should I just dump it?

I also have that lens .

Get yourself a Zenit 3M SLR with the 39m lens mount and use that fine 135mm lens.

I bought a Zenit 3M for 5 dollars at a camera show and it is better built than the later Zenit SLRs.

Hi valdas, keep the lens! With the widespread of the virus which causes the GAS, sooner or later you'll get some nice early Zenit, or Zenit-S with the zM39 mount. 😉

Optically, it's the same lens, just the mount is different. Get a Zenit, Zenit C/3M etc and use it!
