just fantasizing about this ukrainian wonder of german dna... i assume i won't be able to mount it in a cl, but can't see a reason for not trying it in an m3... am i correct?,...

You can do it in a M2.

Yes, it should be fine in an M3 - it fits fine in my M6 (and you're right - in a CL it will hit the meter stalk)

M3 will lack the 35 lines, otherwise should be fine. I used it on my M4 until Ultron came my way.

as far as I know it is a russian rebuild 😉
- ukrainian would be FEDs and Industars
and you are right J12 wont fit to a Leica CL, M5 and some Bessas.

ohwell... i just vaguely remembered that the contax legacy went to ukrainia,.. but then i was any good at history ,-)


but i also seem to remember (again, vaguely) that there is a somewhat general consensus about which serial numbers to stay away from, and which to hunt for... any of you got info on that ...?? (this would be for the ltm mount version)
